The difference between powder coating and paint spraying:

Spray painting and powder coating are two completely different coating methods. 3、Dry temperature

Paint drying temperature: 60 to 220 ° C, 15 to 60 min. Distinguish according to paint characteristics

Powder drying temperature: 180 ° C to 200 ° C, 10 to 20 min. According to the characteristics of the powder

4、Adhesion

Both can reach the 0 level standard under normal painting

5、Film thickness

Spray paint: 15-120μm. Depending on the composition of the paint

Powder coating: 60-120 μm, depending on the different type.

6、Color types

Paint: plain, metallic.

Powder: Artistic paints such as plain, metallic, wrinkle, and sand.

Cost analysis:

Other cost analysis

Spray paint requires water curtain cabinet or dry spray booth, because 30-40% of the paint is wasted, this paint also needs to be treated, the processing cost is about 0.5 RMB / square, the utilization rate of powder is basically 100%, and the gas is recovered indoors. Emissions, no need to deal with the cost; paint contains formaldehyde, toluene, xylene and other harmful substances, the body damage to workers, and secondary spraying, adding a lot of manpower, material resources;   Powdered workpiece: Thick coating, can cover some, the paint can’t make traces; And after the powder is cured, the coating is hard, it is not easy to break and the machine equipment is more high-grade.
