Powder Attention Questions in Powder Spraying Booth

The production of powder coating spraying room is a key process in the spraying production process. The key to the surface quality of spraying profiles lies in the control of various process parameters in the spraying process. The amount of powder and automized air are two key technical indicators. Before spraying powder formally, it can be sprayed several times. At this time, the size of powder and the uniformity of powder distribution can be observed at both ends of the spraying room. At this point, the powder moves along a straight line from the end of the spray gun and exists in the form of atomized powder in the outer part. The powder adsorbed on the surface of the profile is actually the powder with this atomization effect. Whether there is such atomization effect or not is the standard to control the distance between the spray gun and the profile. In addition to process parameters, some necessary minor points should also be noted.

（1）喷枪的位置

喷枪应保持一定的倾斜度,偏向于型材运行的方向,喷枪在排列上保持竖向平行,端头部分保持在一条直线上,喷枪之间不应有重叠部分,上、下喷枪的位置以粉末覆盖所有型材为宜。

流化床的作用是利用气流的作用,使粉末形成一种适当的流化状态,手感类似于液体流动的状态,检测流化达到充分状态,最简单的操作是:用手或棍棒搅动粉末时,感觉不到阻力的存在。流化便于粉末吸入导管,在加速风的作用下,产生雾化的效果,压力不足或压力过大都会造成流化不充分的产生。

吸附于型材表面的粉末仅占所有喷枪出粉量的1/3左右,散落在喷房内的粉末较多,回收粉必须与新添加粉按适当的比例混合使用,效果比较好,所以粉末应及时回收再利用。
